About the CEO

Over the course of her career, Jo Anne Weimer (Jo) has worked extensively with CEOs and executives of public, private and entrepreneurial corporations, as well as other elite individuals and organizations. Her background as a strategic planner and project manager, coupled with her highly sought skills in consulting with CEOs, community and education leaders, has allowed her to build Luce Creek Associates, Inc., into an entrepreneurial organization that is dynamic and responsive to today’s business needs. Jo’s skill set is enhanced by her highly qualified professional team, who work with her to offer outstanding service to clients in business, industry, non-profit organizations, education and entertainment venues.

As a native Washingtonian, Jo is a graduate of the University of Maryland University College with a concentration in business and management focusing on radio, TV, and film. Weimer began her career as an administrative assistant while an undergraduate at the University. Following graduation she served as the Vice President and Treasurer of the University of Maryland System Foundation, initiating and organizing policies/procedures, organizing the original Board of Directors and managing more than $50 million in assets. For five years, she was Assistant Dean for External Relations at the Robert H. Smith School of Business where she directed media relations, communications, publications, alumni programming and fund raising. She is currently serving as a board member of the Robert H. Smith School of Business Foundation.

Jo is an avid sailor with memberships in the Naval Academy Sailing Squadron as well as other yachting programs and associations. She is an active community volunteer and supporter of women-owned minority businesses.
